O nome e a data est\u00e3o associados ao\u00a0<strong>Levante do Gueto de Vars\u00f3via<\/strong>, que aconteceu em 19 de abril de 1943. A data foi oficializada n\u00e3o apenas a fim de\u00a0<strong>manter viva a mem\u00f3ria de seis milh\u00f5es de judeus aniquilados<\/strong>, mas tamb\u00e9m fazer com que o Holocausto chegasse ao conhecimento do mundo inteiro para<strong>\u00a0combater as atrocidades cometidas em nome do antissemitismo<\/strong>\u00a0e tamb\u00e9m do<strong>\u00a0preconceito contra qualquer ser humano<\/strong>. O regime nazista tamb\u00e9m perseguiu e exterminou ciganos, homossexuais, testemunhas de Jeov\u00e1, pessoas com defici\u00eancia, entre outros.<\/p><p><strong><em>\u201cLembrar para n\u00e3o esquecer\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.
